Taille SL9 : 54
Cintre : 380mm
Potence : 100mm
Roues : Roval Alpiniste CLX 3
Pneu : coton 30mm
Groupe : Sram Red AXS (dernière génération)
Boîtier de pédalier : Céramique Speed
Plateaux : 50 - 37
Cassette : 10 - 36
Manivelle : 170mm
Porte bidon : nouveau S-Works carbone.

With great regret, I’m selling my brand-new SL9, only one week after taking delivery.
Due to an unexpected professional opportunity and a major life change, I’ll have to put cycling on hold for at least the next two years.
The bike has only 250 km on it and not a single scratch. It is literally as new (invoice dated July 7th).
After testing several bikes (SL8, Colnago Y1RS, Scott Addict…), I ultimately chose the SL9.
Its comfort is simply outstanding while maintaining the efficiency you expect from a race bike thanks to its perfectly balanced stiffness.
I tested it on climbs that I know extremely well and where I have years of data (times, power output, riding sensations, fatigue, etc.).
I’m just as fast—if not slightly faster—than I was on my SL7 (often criticized for being too stiff and demanding). But what impressed me the most is the comfort. The SL9 is significantly less fatiguing to ride, and after a hard session you simply don’t finish in the same state of fatigue. It’s genuinely impressive.
I live in the mountains, and the setup I chose—Roval Alpinist CLX III wheels with 30 mm cotton-casing tubeless tires—provides an astonishing level of comfort. Road imperfections are almost completely filtered out.
The bike is incredibly responsive when climbing out of the saddle or accelerating, and it makes climbing feel remarkably effortless.
Coming from an SL7, I was also amazed by the descending performance. I’d say it’s around 60% more precise, allowing you to descend at very high speed with complete confidence. It feels like a precision instrument. The aerodynamic improvements really do make a noticeable difference.
The latest-generation SRAM Red AXS groupset is flawless—like a Swiss watch—and thanks to the AXS app, setup and customization have become incredibly easy. (And that’s coming from someone who genuinely loves Shimano.)
Once life returns to normal, I’ll buy exactly the same bike again, with the very same groupset.
If you’d like more technical information, you’ll find the complete specifications on the Specialized website. Here’s a summary of the bike exactly as I configured it:
Frame size: 54
Handlebar: 380 mm
Stem: 100 mm
Wheelset: Roval Alpinist CLX III (absolutely phenomenal)
Tires: 30 mm cotton casing, tubeless
Groupset: SRAM Red AXS (latest generation)
Bottom bracket: CeramicSpeed
Chainrings: 50/37
Cassette: 10-36
Crank length: 170 mm
Bottle cages: New S-Works carbon
Weight (with Dura-Ace pedals): exactly 6.6 kg
I’m willing to take a financial loss, but please no unrealistic offers. This bike is essentially straight out of the box.
Price: €13,000 firm (retail price: €13,999).
Selling it with a tear in my eye…
Ride safe, and thank you for taking the time to read my ad.
