Our story
Troc Vélo was born in 2004 from the initiative of passionate cyclists, with a simple idea: to give bikes a second life rather than let them gather dust at the back of a garage. At a time when the second-hand bike market barely existed online, the site laid the foundations of a space of trust between private individuals.
Listing after listing, the community was built around a shared conviction: a good bike deserves to be ridden, not stored away. Over the years, Troc Vélo has thus become the go-to site for bike classifieds in France, with several hundred thousand listings published every year.
In 2021, Troc Vélo joined the Alltricks group, the French specialist in cycling, running and outdoor gear. This union made it possible to accelerate the development of the platform — secure payment, delivery, price estimation — while keeping what matters most: a site designed by and for cyclists.
